Life

Writing time is still a bottleneck. I also haven't been able to do any kitchen experiments so nothing new on The Spicy IT side of things. The office move has mostly settled, so I've had a bit more time to tinker with Wisenet WAVE and eSPACE. Starting with using the eSPACE calendar as digital signage and then creating a Wisenet WAVE layout based on it.

On the home-side of things, I've started rebuilding the homelab (more on that below). I'm also trying out a few new Mac apps (new to me at least). Obsidian for work and homelab documentation, Transmit 5 (Panic) for syncing those docs to the cloud. And the Zen browser.

Currently reading: The Infinite Extent: Bobiverse, Book 6

Current Games: NBA 2K25

Work / Infrastructure

  • Finishing the walk-up Asset Borrowing station: Assetbots + Mosyle.
  • Refreshing some desk phones at the office.
  • Going to start working on some type of Asset Inventory/Lifecycle Management stuff soon.
  • Network Monitoring and Alerting.

Homelab

Rebuilding on two old desktops turned Proxmox nodes. I migrated my Libation VM over from ESXi (post coming soon) and Audiobookshelf is running alongside it.
